You are invited to support our Filipino veterans who will be honored by Congress with the Congressional Gold Medal (CGM) for their service and sacrifice during World War II. On November 30, 2016, the Filipino Veterans of World War II Congressional Gold Medal Act of 2015 was passed and was signed into law by President Obama on December 14, 2016. There are an estimated 20,000 veterans and/or family remaining who are eligible to receive the CGM. All net proceeds from this fundraiser directly benefit:
- The national Filipino Veterans Recognition and Education Project (FilVetREP) and its efforts to purchase Congressional Gold Medal replicas in bronze to present to living veterans and post-humously to surviving family members
- Costs in duplication, minting, and medal presentation ceremonies
- Education projects about Filipino Veterans of WWII
